Is it really free?
Yes. Claiming or adding your company, getting approved and seeing your match count cost nothing, with no card needed. You pay only if you want to see matches in detail and request introductions.
Why is my company already listed?
We built profiles from public sources such as company websites, press releases and contract announcements, and each one links to its source. Claim yours to correct it and take control of it, or ask us to remove it.
Who sees my information?
Matched companies see an anonymous summary: what you offer and need, your size and region. Your company name and contacts are shared only when you agree to an introduction.
What is an introduction?
You ask to meet a match. We take your request to that company personally, under The Defense Post name, by email, LinkedIn, phone or at a show. It sees your company name, profile and message. If it accepts, we introduce you both in one email. A request only counts as one of your monthly introductions when the other side says yes.
What if a company says no?
Then it does not count as one of your introductions. We first try other people at the company, and you can ask to meet another of your matches at any time.
How do trade show meetings work?
Under Events you see upcoming shows, the exhibitors and buyer delegations that match you, and the other members going. Mark the shows you will attend and ask to meet people there with a day and time. Meetings with other members are included in your plan; meetings we arrange with companies that are not members count as an introduction, only if they accept. Accepted meetings come with a calendar invite.
What can I share here?
Only public, unclassified business information. Do not enter classified material, controlled technical data (ITAR/EAR) or CUI.

Introduction requests
Only organizers see this page. Every request waits here for you. Find the right person and either send the standard Accept / Decline email, or reach them your own way (LinkedIn, phone, a show) and mark it introduced. If a contact declines or does not answer, the request comes back here as In progress so you can try someone else. Set it to Declined or No reply only when you give up: the member is told and gets the introduction back.
